Please note that we have received some reports of high latency and connectivity issues accessing our Victorian facilities from a small number of locations. This appears to be as a result of a larger issue with an upstream transit provider.

A significant fibre break in Victoria is resulting in high congestion and connectivity issues to our facilities at 530 Collins Street, Melbourne from some locations. From reports received, the break appears to mainly be affecting traffic from/to Perth as well as countries serviced via the same path (eg: Singapore, The Philippines). An estimated time to restore is not available at this time. Fibre repair technicians should be arriving at the location of the break shortly. Updates to follow.

Re-routing of traffic has mostly mitigated the previously experienced issues and traffic appears to have stablised. The fibre break will be repaired overnight with an estimated time to repair being 6:00am AEDT. This notice will be resolved once all fibre work has been completed.
